I don't think it would be wise to say anything else since it would affect Amaro in a negative way to knock him at this point. We don't need anything else to interfere with Amaros mindset. He also said that they would evaluate Amaro in the next season or two. My mind tells me that Amaro is the worst GM in baseball. In fact Most Sports writers voted him as the worst. Gillick and Amaro are with us for one more year. The following season they should both be gone. IMO>

I just heard that our effective GM has decided not to Give Nola a spring training invite. Instead he will start the season in double AA. Too bad. I would have enjoyed watching Nola in the spring season.

Boggles the mind how somebody can draw those conclusions about braindead and his puppeteer. There must be some delusional blindness agent(s) in the water in Philly!

Yeah, I would have liked that too, but I the way he's doing so far in the minors he may be up with the big club in September. This year I'm actually more interested in the minor league teams than the Phillies. Between Nola and the two guys they got for Rollins, Franco and watching to see how fast Crawford can move up at least we have something worth following. Plus if some team actually pulls the trigger on Hamels we'll no doubt have a couple more prospects worth watching.

I agree, however, the Phillies have a load of retards to evaluate so if he shines in AA and moves up within a short time, we'll get to see him in the very near future. Nola, out of LSU, went 4-3 with a 2.93 ERA, 45 strikeouts and 10 walks in 55 1/3 innings at Clearwater and Reading. Not bad.

For comparison, look at what STL did with Michael Wacha, 23, out of Texas A&M. He was brought up in 2013 after moving from Rk league thru AAA at age 20 in one year. Then went 9-7 for STL in 2013-14, ERA 3.04, K'd three times his BBs. That's progress.

I liked it better when David Montgomery kept his mouth shut for the last six months...

Amaro must have photos with Montgomery and a goat getting it on. How else could he possibly still be the Phillies GM?
