But no hoodies. Durant thinks his hood makes him look like a tough guy but he looks more like Little Red Riding Hood but only in blue.No, but they literally have always worn warm up tops and sweats on the bench. At least in the 30 years I have been watching NBA.
It is common knowledge that sweats keep muscles warm and there is real science behind it. You are just flat out wrong. Hoodies and warm up tops have the same functional value.
As soon as body temperature begins to fall, muscles tighten up. Tight muscles are terrible for player performance. It is why pitchers wear jackets when their team is hitting, even on hot summer days. It is why NBA players have always covered up with warm up tops and towels when resting on the bench for more than a few seconds.
This is fact.
