Here I will list the different projections from the different "experts" on who the Texans will pick in their mock drafts.

From Bleacher Report:

Ezekiel Elliott RB Ohio State

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ted-projections-post-divisional-round/page/23

Arian Foster's impressive but injury-riddled career is likely on its last legs, and it's time for the Texans to think about drafting his replacement.
While there have been plenty of backs who prove teams can get value in the middle rounds, players such as Todd Gurley have shown that special talents can still be worth premium picks. Elliott falls into that category, with a rare blend of vision, explosiveness, power and patience.
Elliott is likely the only back in this year's class worthy of a first-round pick, and with no quarterback left on the board worthy of this selection, Houston should pull the trigger.

Another mock draft goes with Elliott.

2016 NFL mock draft: The rise of Carson Wentz

22. Houston Texans: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
Elliott being available for the Texans is an ideal situation. He's by far the draft's best running back, and could step right into the starting role for Houston. Elliott can be a workhorse back, and showed as much at Ohio State the last two seasons when he had 562 carries for more than 3,600 yards and 41 touchdowns.

This mock draft has Elliott going to the Giants. So who do the Texans get?

2016 NFL Mock Draft: Browns replace Johnny Manziel with Carson Wentz

22. Houston Texans
Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis:
Kudos to Bill O'Brien and the Texans staff for winning the AFC South but limitations at quarterback were key to Houston's early playoff exit, making an offseason upgrade a near certainty. Scouts are excited about Lynch's raw talent, which includes the big arm to make the deep sideline throws to effectively feature star wideout DeAndre Hopkins.

And here we also get a quarterback but not the same one as the last mock draft.

2016 NFL Mock Draft: Carson Wentz is the anti-Johnny Manziel for Browns

22. Houston Texans: Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
The Texans won the South Division with below average quarterback play and as Bill O'Brien enters year three as head coach, he needs to find a young passer to groom (and no, Tom Savage doesn't count). Connor Cook has his issues and might not have a high ceiling, but he's ready to start in the NFL now.

Four more mocks from NFL.com

2016 NFL Mock Draft Central - NFL.com

Three more say Ezekiel Elliott and then a fourth throws in a very unlikely pick, WR Corey Coleman from Baylor.

I can't see the Texans taking WR at #1. That pick is way out there in my opinion.

If mock drafts meant anything, Ezekiel Elliott will soon be a Houston Texan.

The Texans were going to take Todd Gurley if he fell to them at No. 16 because the concerns about Arian Foster's soft-tissue injuries are real. Foster has never been the same since foolishly changing his eating habits, and he's never going to be a reliable player as a result. Houston will be looking for a new running back this offseason.
