I'm good with it as is, as you said, onward. I think if you are involved in a tie, and you get the player, then you lose any other ties until the person or person you tie with have all won a tie as well.

I think you have to make the tie rule pretty strict bc the whole point is your punishment is steep. Or for a tie we could just have some sort of tiebreaker.

How about you don’t lose your pick but that pick is pushed back 2 rounds or something. So the players who tie for a player in Round 1 will now have a pick at THE END of Round 3...

Thats the beauty of it, Barkley and Zeke are never drafted in the first round. I have a feeling we are just gonna scrap this idea but I love the thought of it...

But if you tried Duncan in the 1st and Barkley in the 2nd, and Zeke in the 3rd...

Point is, you can try to play it safe and still get fucked over. Meanwhile, nobody tried for Jordan and KAJ and Wilt...

So, try for Pistol in the 1st, Nate Thurmond in the 2nd and Dominique in the 3rd

What if everyone sent you their pick as well as a # between 1-100 in case of tie, closest to number wins. Before each round, you write down a number. Then let's say Shane, WLK and I all pick MJ. Shane says MJ 28, WLK says MJ 50, and I say MJ 55. Let's say your number was 48. WLK gets MJ.

I also had two ideas on how to help guys that lose ties. One, when everyone sends in their pick and number, they also send a backup plan for that round. So going back to the above example, Shane and I lost the tie. Shane's backup plan was Karl Malone, who no one else took, so he gets Malone. My backup plan was Kobe, but someone took Kobe with their original pick, so I get no first rounder, but I get two second round picks instead.

Or...if you lose a tie, you just get two second round picks, meaning Shane and I would have two picks in round two, with numbers and a backup plan

I'm not trying to change it all up. I think the idea has potential. I just want to try to make it as fair as possible.

Or, it can just be a cutthroat, all out war and fuck 'em if they don't get a few players along the way type thing. I'm still down for it either way.

I was kinda thinking this same idea. I am cool with either option instead of just losing that pick. It could either go to a 2nd rounder or we have a backup pick

I don't much like the number idea but getting to select 2 players in a round if you lost out on the previous round might be something we could do...

The thing that is most important is I dont want y'all knowing who got who, I will tell you when you get the player you wanted but I dont want others knowing. i'ts all going to be a secret until everyone has 10 players then I will post the teams.

Now I just gotta think of how to do play-in games...

So keep tabs on your notepad when you get a player.And get a mystery reveal of all teams when its done.Sounds good to me
