So here is my 4th mock and after reading who the Bengals have met with and who's pro day they've attended I can see them going in a number of directions but with only 3 safeties currently on the roster and both Nelson and Iloka both free agents next year I decided to go with Collins if he's still available. I can also see the Bengals going with DJ Humphries since they just had a private workout with him but I also think they like Fisher since they attended Oregon's Pro Day.

Rd 1. (21st)- Landon Collins* S 6'0" 228 Alabama
Rd 2. (53rd)- Jake Fisher OT 6'6⅛" 306 Oregon
Rd 3. (85th)- Doran Grant CB 5'10¼" 200 Ohio State
Rd 3. (99th) comp- Henry Anderson DE 6'6¼" 294 Stanford
Rd 4. (120th)- Jamison Crowder WR 5'8⅜" 185 Duke

No chance Fisher falls to 53. Wouldn't be surprised if he isn't there at 21. Not a fan of Grant in the 3rd. CB not nearly a big enough need. Anderson would be a nice pick there. I'm not sure Crowder is going to make it in the NFL. He isn't very big or fast or quick compered to guys much bigger than him.

Also not a huge fan of Collins there, but wouldn't hate it.

What in the world are you talking about? ! Crowder just ran a 4.39 at his pro day.

Plus Jake Fisher is the 7th ranked OT after Brandon Scherff, Andrus Peat, Ereck Flowers, T.J. Clemmings, La'el Collins, D.J. Humphries, and Cedric Ogbuehi and the 55th ranked prospect overall. He will be there when the Bengals make their second pick with the 53rd selection.

And CB isn't a need? Terence Newman just left to sign with Minnesota and Hall, Jones and Kirkpatrick are all free agents next season. Knowing the Bengals history they always draft players replacements the year prior to them hitting free agency, aka Eifert, Still, and Thompson.

Would not be a fan of the Grant pick at all.

Creative post. Insightful. Interesting argument about Dalton - Haven't considered that angle yet.

andy dalton is anti-clutch

If he were anti-clutch, that would suggest he would struggle against winning teams, in postseason games and when there is a national audience. That just doesn't seem to fit to me.... I'll go back and watch and see if you're on to something.

There's not nearly enough name calling in this thread.

Step it up, idiots.

Just because huh? LOL! Way to add to the conversation, genius.

We have other needs in rounds 1, 2, and 3.
I don't think he'll be a great NFL player - I think we need to be looking for bigger cover guys.
I don't think he's fast enough (game speed, not just a straight line 40)
An NFL quarterback will make him pay with the separation WRs get on him.

Hmmmm.... Guess I didn't consider that. I forgot we played the Patriots and I never bothered to look up his playoff record. Thanks for helping me.

Guys -- Do you think it would be worth discussing getting a new qb? It turns out Dalton might not be as good as we think.

Meh, pro day times are notoriously faster than the combine. Crowder is nice, but there are other guys I'd rather have much more. Who have much more potential. Fisher has been gaining a ton of steam. I doubt he is there at 53, especially with the amount of teams that need an OT. We have Dre who isn't leaving and Dennard. Hall is likely a Bengal for life. Jones won't leave either. Still have Lewis-Harris too.
