Give Andy the benefit of the doubt and say AJ ran the wrong route. The ball still landed 4 yards out of the back of the endzone. Even if AJ had the opportunity to make a play on the ball, it would have had to be some kind of miraculous catch.

I'm not saying it was a good throw, just disputing the fact that you blamed Dalton for the miscommunication.

3rd and 8, with the rush in his face, Ben delivers a strike. That play really accentuates the difference between Ben and Dalton.

I didn't intend on placing blame anywhere specifically, just pointing out that our one attempt to go deep was about as bad as it could get. Watching his accuracy over 10 yards down field does make it difficult for me to give him the benefit of the doubt, though.
