Keep reading that Brinkley is the most likely to start at the Mike. I don't get it. Hitchens would be my all too early, pre-training camp choice. I think he may even be better than McClain, but even if he isn't I think he should be the 4 game starter there. Thoughts from you guys?

I think they are going to make Hitchens earn it. Everyone knows Hitchens played very well last year and would be an obvious choice, but I think the coaching staff is playing a little motivational game with Hitchens -- heard similar talk over the summer about McSurdy being the front runner at SLB, when Hitchens seems like a better choice. I think it's the coaching staff's way of giving him extra motivation.

I base this on nothing but a hunch

I don't care who starts as long as he earned the job, not by how much Jerry is paying him.

Looked at your thread title and thought it was about Baseball :D

I think Hitchens should be the guy right now but McClain has way more talent but a 10 cent brain

Honestly McClain might not be back next year unless he can get his chit together and all in 1 damn sock I still like the guy but at some point its time to move on. McClain has some serious issues to get over.

He reminds me of the Roy Tarpley saga something always going on

I am rooting for him to overcome his issues but Im not betting on it

Sounds more like a conversation from 5 years ago. This team has shown to do anything but that

McSurdy? Is he still around? Do you mean Wilbur?

If Hitchens gets a chance, McClain may have started his last game as a Cowboy....

No, very happy with our LBs. How about a good young cheap Tyrone Crawford for Fletcher Cox?

Brinkley seems to be the classic fill the gap 2 down pounder.

Easy, Manster. You know that drama seekers can't remember what nonsense they've spouted from one day to the next.
How many times have you heard this statement: I never said...

Chip wouldnt trade for Dez... but I would. See thats the problem with you Manster and Eiknarrflin. I never ever ever said I agree with Chip... I just said he wouldnt do it. Go look at the Eagles board, there was a thread where several Eagles fans were saying the exact same thing as me. There was some OLineman in the supplemental draft Eagles fans were curious about and a bunch of Eagles fans said, "Chip wont go after a guy with problems". There was another thread about Lael Collins which would fill a tremendous hole for the Eagles and they showed no interest because he stiffed a prostitute for eating out his butt hole.

I wish you guys would just read what I said. I never said I agree with Chips philosophy. Would I be happy if we got Dez... HELL YEAH, he would be a beast in our system. An absolute BEAST. But Chip wouldnt do it. I wish they went after Collins too but I hope he let the prostitute use syrup on his bung hole.

Naw... I might do Dez for Cox but that would really hurt our D. Kendricks would be great on the Cowboys. He would be your best LBer next to Lee.

opinions always very when one speaks in absolutes...funny that some cowboy fans would consider LB a strength this season with health. Darn good thing this isn't a cowboy fan chat board or anything.
