I was a little upset, I really don't get upset with these idiots anymore, because I thought he was a cheap option. Then later the contract details came out and I was shocked. I don't see him worth this at all.

I am still shocked M's haven't traded Arozarena. His contract seems high for the Mariners compared to his production.

Profar upsets me for 24 not 25. Jerry always makes a crap move like Profar in the offseason, a bounce back candidate, and the one year he doesn’t that dude has a good year.

Agree with you on Randy. But problem is they have no one to replace him. You could use Raley out there but then you don’t a 1B. It’s basically trade Castillo for a bat or go into the season with the Micky Mouse lineup and a prayer that the pitchers stay healthy and all get better somehow.

I figured they would trade Randy for two young, cheap MLB ready guys. Like to Baltimore for a couple of their logjam players or Boston for Casas and an OF.

Wasn't referring to their top prospects. I was referring to guys like Mountcastle and Dylan Beavers. Jorge Mateo (though he is a few years older than I originally thought) was another option with Mountcastle. The two would be less than Randy and still save them about a few million or so.

Or even a hitter and a young SP. But I was referring to 2 hitters for the price of one with Arozarena being the better of the 3. That is the only way to fill positions with no money.

I feel like Alonso's agent is having a field day. Yes, Alonso would probably like to stay, but if he can jack up his price by stalling for an offer from another team willing to pay more? that's business.

If the Astros get Bergman back does that make the Mariners the 4th best AL west team? The Rangers have the most talent, the Astros are the Astros and I think the 2nd half of the A’s was legit. The Angels are the Angels where on paper they have talent but always suck.
