sorry didn't realize we were only playing the postseason here... 3 x CY and 4 x ERA title bubba...more like hard penis. I'll take that as a #3 in this any day

Well tbh we do a playoff bracket so I guess we can view each round as a best of 7 series...at least that's how I look at it but as far as judging the players, you are correct.

So we should disregard his production when he faces better teams in the playoffs and higher stakes?

His ERA literally goes up every round that he advances.

NLDS: 3.72 ERA
NLCS: 4.61 ERA
WS: 5.40 ERA

Yikes.

I'm obviously joking a bit, but damn if it's not impressive how much he sucks in the post season.

SUprised you went Ott over Schmidt tbh, not that its a bad pick! @Nosferatu

Even crazier thinking they make it back haha.

I wanted to take shmidt with one of my first 2 picks. But saw third base is the deep position in this mock. If it wasn’t he would have been easily a first round pick.

I mean obviously I know he blows in the postseason...that doesn't erase who he is over a regular season career though. Otherwise that's a double standard that doesn't apply to positional players. I'm sure there are lots of examples of GOAT reg season players who sucked in the playoffs who get drafted very high and no one even notices or mentions their postseason woes. Don't ask me who because I'm not that smart and have no idea lol...just can't imagine that not being the case. I'm sure there's also some postseason goats that will never get drafted in any of our drafts because at the end of the day, the regular season matters a lot more when we are talking about how we view the all time greats. As far as Shane's comment about looking at these as a 7 game series, I thought that was always open to our own interpretation? I try to consider all things when I vote...how they would do over a season, over a series, or basically just who has the better team overall. If we are supposed to look at it like a best of 7 world series, then goddamm it I want a revote for my Jack Morris led mashers!!! hahaha

hate all you want on Kershaw I don't care - it was a good pick there. Also, he or Glavine are tradeable like I said...might have done things a little different had I remembered Kershaw when I took Glavine, or realized that Cy Young and his big-ass fupa were eligible for this lol

Billy Wagner gave up 13 ER in 11 innings in the post season so I don't know why you are hating so much @CitySushi

Because 1) I'm joking and 2) I'm a Giants fan and 3) Because @MookieMonstah50 called me out for not picking him, so I gotta clap back. Gotta keep my rep up in the streets, feel me?

@MookieMonstah50 What's it like to have a personal internet body guard? What sort of compensation do you need to offer? Asking for a friend.
