I had to find a Left SP, who had something that stood out, either Snell, Sam McDowell, and a few current older guys still playing that I don't want to mention. Snell had something that stood out when I compared the 4 of them.

Believe me, I DID NOT WANT to draft someone in their 3rd season, I NEVER have. Even Kershaw at 23 when he broke out.

bingo...thats the plan... for my tribute draft to the 2015 World Champ KC Royals...hard outs all through the lineup, speed, servicable starters, and a KNOCK out pen.

don't worry, some studs from the 1800's will balance this team out

I know, but when you look up pitchers before Koufax, you almost pinpoint in their stats when they had an arm issues and played on. Its getting strange looking at stats and seeing a pretty distinctive pattern on so many pitcher, great, good and average. Sam McDowell is just one example of pitching on and screwing up his career numbers. Many of the 1800 guys you can see it too.

a 159 is no 219.. Matter of fact, in all those seasons all your SPs had, not 1 season was a 219 or above. It doesn't make them not great pitchers. Snell just had a historic season, it really isn't arguable. Don't hate, appreciate.

Snell is 18th with Pedro Martinez and Cy Young, if you include righties. 2nd among Lefties all time.
