I try not to be bias towards any era but it is gives me a nice warm feeling inside knowing what the full product and final product of a player was. Some guys that were drafted have be in the league only 5 or 6 years. Obviously, I am more familiar with current guys

sometimes its about value... I am much more of a current player fan too... Despite my whole team being old...

the way i see it, we as drafters are much more inconsistent about evaluating past players than modern players(last 20 seasons)... wouldn't you rather have a player that was the best of his era than the 5th or 6th best of an era??

maybe maybe not. Case by case basis

Not from what you said but how I see you drafting. Sure I'll give you some points for your pen. As far as your rotation goes, 1965 your most recent career start, the rest way back. Gwynn the most recent hitter at 1982 the rest way back. Just calling a spade a spade if we are biased so are you

I have players who played in the 1890's, 1900's, 1910's, 1920's, 1940's, 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, 2000's, 2010's

Well, well, well.... look what I started. I think there is a clear separation in preference of players, but I don't see a "lack of respect" lol

And as for my bias for modern players, I still did rank Altuve, Verlander, Arenado, and Sosa as worst picks. Its more about value and where you can get players for me.

Not gunna lie man, some of you guys need to come off your high horse. Other people in the world do drafts, and know things about sports other than this forum. We have been doing this for almost 10 years now lol I have so many big boards, charts, stats, and other nonsense for every major 5 sport.

I love these drafts, and this one has been fun especially because of the number of teams. But I think the real bias is coming from you guys. Happy New Year!
