Well I told them to make up 4 for the ones that were ordered to be replaced and I'd pay for those, and told the parents to wear the messed ones today and when the others are ready I'd give them those as well... Best I could do... Glad there were only 4 ordered by those 2... Some parents went 5 by themselves, that could have been pricey...

I disagree, the reason great pitching does well against great hitting in all star games is because they don't go through the order more than once. Great hitting beats great pitching unless you are only gonna let Walter Johnson go 3 innings then rely on your pen...

I think we should let 1 team get a bye all the way to the finals and then let the team pick players from the teams that all lost then face the guy who made it to the finals... I pulled names out of a hat and Team WLK was the name I got for the team to get the bye...

I literally find it hilarious anyone would think any pitcher would go through these lineups like they would any other. 2-3 runs over 6 against the best players of all time after a career era of 2.17 against the entire league. So I guess we should all just concentrate on pitchers in these from now on because no matter how good the hitters are the pitchers are only going to be touched for about 1 extra run per game.

I do agree... and I think you guys are arguing the same point just on opposite ends... really the question is do you think better pitching can contain better hitting more than better hitting can hit better pitching??

I don't think there would be many QSs. A guy might get into the 7th, but he's going to give up 4 or 5. Don't see why anyone would let a starter go past seven with these lineups and these bullpens.

2.17 is per 9 innings pitched. If he pitched 6 innings, that would equal 1.42 runs. If we doubled that number, due to the strength of the teams, that would be 2.84 runs per 6 innings. Also consider, he would be stronger going 6, not getting tired late. So to think he course go through, giving up more than double his ERA is pretty realistic IMO.

Also thank you guys for all the help and insight over the last few weeks I did use the advice you guys gave and it helped to talk through some of the worries I had... Between the drafts and the advice you guys helped me from stressing out like I always do when big games come up... Thanks gentlemen! And Ritz...
