I think roster adds/drops should be allowed, but not until after the draft is over.

Ok say we agree to this. How can we do it if I drop a RP and pick up a OF from the same decade? Do I then have to drop a OF and pickup a RP from the same decade so it works out.

Yes, drops and pick ups will be allowed AFTER the draft is complete and as I believe UK said it will be done in order meaning Smitty will get to go first if he wants then Ritz and so on. ONE player at a time.

What do ya think about this? If you are dropping a player from a decade you have 3 players you DO NOT need to select someone from that same decade but of course you CAN NOT ever select a 4th player from a decade?

I feel like there are a lot of teams that are better than mine, maybe it's just me.

Since everyone has 3 players from 1980 decade Ill say what I wanted to do. I need a LF so I wanted to take Albert Belle who played in the 80's. Well since I already have 3 players from 80's I wanted to drop RP Franco who played in the 80's. With my remaining picks I could draft a RP and meet my requirements. I can't trade Franco to anyone because once again we all have 3 players from the 80's. If we wait till the end of the draft I could drop Franco and pickup Belle but then I would be 1 OF over my requirement and 1 less RP then my requirement. So I would have to make several add/drops just to make it work.

The problem is twofold IMO. One, someone who has already picked will be pissed because now Franco will be on the board, when they would have picked him if he had been there. Two, if someone drafting now wanted Belle, they will think they got cut out

Btw... I have moved Stan Musial to 1B instead of LF. I guess when I set my starting lineup it will only matter

I like this idea, but I would add one thing. I think it would be fair if we started the drops from the bottom, meaning me, then Shane then Steve. The top of the order got the first pick in the draft. As well as the first crack at all decades in round 21
