Just can’t look past Giles as the #2 hitter. Feel the teams were close but having him as the main man to lead the offense worries me. I got Nos.

Not saying a .291 hitter is bad but just feel it didn’t help his team.

Sandra bc her lineup is so strong. 500’s rotation is better and BP much better. Not enough to make up for how great Sandra’ lineup is

Sandra in this one, one of the best mock lineups ever, but I think that pitching may hurt her in a round or two

Can I ask you friends something. Not complaining just want an honest assessment. Seems like a team that either has a super lineup or super pitching wins. Why no love for more balanced teams?

That's very true, people want the wow factor I guess. In the spirit of transparency I have more HOFers in my rotation than you do... lolzzz :noidea:

If Curt Schilling wasn’t a Republican he would be in the HOF

I think a balanced team will beat the team has. I think you needed one more great pitcher or one more great hitter personally. Schilling, Smoltz and Mussina are all very good but not great, and his lineup is too much IMO. I thought the Giles pick killed you as well, he's a good player and maybe a little underrated, but he can't be a 2 Hole in an open format IMO. Your 3-4-5 hitters can actually hang with his, but he has Tris Speaker and Rogers Hornsby setting the table and you have Jackie Robinson and Brian Giles. That's a big difference.

It wasn’t so much this matchup. Just a trend I’ve noticed over my years here
