I honestly could see a trade in the next week for Vernon Davis. Last year of his contract probably not going to resign him and would have a huge cap hit for us this year.

Ps. I do have faith in Huerman being a big contributor at that spot next yr. Keep Virgel if your going to use him more in passing game and try and find a hidden gem in draft next yr.

Daniels has been awful. I know he has never been speedy but he was always good at getting open. He looks slower then ever. To make it work with Manning and htis OL you need to get open fast. He looks to me like this should be his last year unless I am missing something. He's had a good career.

Well the 49ers have confirmed now that there are a few teams calling about the availability of Vernon Davis. I would be very surprised if the Broncos aren't one of those teams. They are looking for that TE that can stretch the field and well Vernon Davis when healthy is one of the best in the league.

Well Cap Wise he would be just under $3 million if we got him right now. Each week that price goes down Cap Hit wise. Because of his injury right now and lack of production so far this year his price has probably never been lower. It is part of the reason I think the 49ers haven't traded him yet in they are hoping he has a decent game or two to shoot that price back up. Right now I would bet a 6th round pick gets the job done. If he has a couple of decent games then maybe a 5th round pick.

I agree on Owen Daniels - he is slower this season off the snap in blocking and down field in pass receiving - he still has decent hands and can muscle in the red zone.

I think he was just going to be the vet that transitioned the rookie TE into a starter. It's actually kind of amazing that the Broncos are the thinnest at TE - a Kubiak specialty and historically a Bronco strong suit.
