Not sure why Rivera/JDR didn't fire him in the offseason after how poorly the DLine played in 2021.Supposedly a big reason Ioannidis was moved was because he and Mills were butting heads.
so we gave up both ?Supposedly a big reason Ioannidis was moved was because he and Mills were butting heads.
Very poor timing. Some guys really loved Mills so waiting to do so during TC is odd. Hopeful this doesn't linger. Bring Sapp back in please...Long overdue.

RK & Sapp?
i think it was an argumentSo it took the off-season to realize he wasn’t producing the quality that the talent dictates?
I'd like to see RR stop dripping in the Carolina well so much in the first place. Unfortunately though the profession of coaching is fertile ground for nepotism which to a point is understandable. There also comes a point though where you gotta realize some old dogs just aren't learning any new tricks.Heard today on JPs podcast that another fight took place in the locker room at halftime during the Cowboys game. Said Mills was the one who broke it up.
I think Ron saw what was supposed to be his biggest strength, and quite frankly the reason he took the job as a huge liability on and off the field.
Took the correct step to try and fix the problem. I love this because now I know Ron will fire a Carolina guy. Ron might have quietly bought himself some additional buy-in with this move. Time will tell if it makes a difference.
