then why bother ?

Because I love the Redskins, but that doesn't mean I stick my head in the sand and say all will be fine. All is not fine. We have structural/cultural issues that begin at the very top of the organization and flow down. Until those are addressed, it is unreasonable to expect different results.

no one is sticking their head in the sand and is saying 'all will be fine " and singing coom by ya

i mean we havent even looked at a new coach and you already have it in your mind we are doomed

hell i understand if we hired someone like a briles . are you saying allen is a yes man ? i think allen can steer him in the right direction

why not have some faith that things will work out ? it doesnt cost anything and it doesnt make you dumber

i feel most people feel like being negative equates to being smarter , it doesnt

snyder would have to be one of the dumbest people on the planet if he didnt look at his stewardship , and see how it has fallen apart and not learn from it .

i can see danny wanting to play with his toy ,but he is also a greedy business man and he knows he needs this team to be successful or he will lose cash

i am not a fan of snyder . he is a money grubbing ruthless prick with a god complex but even he has to wise up . he is a fan like you and me and that could be his issue

i will wait and see how this plays out before i go down defeatist road at the corner of doom and gloom

he may very well mess this up (again) but until he does i will keep getting up off the carpet and be ready to go to combat instead of holding my head down in defeat like a whipped dog

Unless its David Shaw, the Redskins will not have a college coach. I put my money on Jay Gruden or Lovie Smith.

Moss is done

What a terrible last few games for him. Killed some drives in the red zone, dropped a bunch of passes, caused some turnovers. Too bad it ended this way for an excellent player like him

I believe that Art Briles is on the short list too. Whomever has to be simpatico with Snyder and Bruce Allen.

I'd like to preface my thoughts by saying that I do not study X's and O's or understand the details of scheme like a lot of you because I never played the game. I can only go by my inexpert eye and what I read.

The more I read about Art Briles, the more I admire his methods as a man and as a coach. He is innovative and believes strongly that the battle is won in the trenches. Also he doesn't dismiss defense and loves the run. Balance between run and pass seems to be in his game plans. Thing is, could it translate easily to the NFL? With Chip Kelly's success there is an argument it could.

For the Skins, I don't want it happening though. Mostly because of perception (looks like catering) and his past relationship to Griff. Weird thing is, if not for that, I could actually see it as a possible move with some benefits.

Agree....

He has been a good Player for a long time....but Like London, age is catching up to him....He has always had some dropsies here and there, but there were definetly more this year, and always at unopportune times, and i can remember 3 tipped passes for sure that resulted in a interception, and all were deep in the opponents territroy....His drops were on 3rd downs and could have extended drives.....Will miss the veteran locker room part of him, but NOT his lack of production as a receiver...I will say....still the best PR on the team, which is a sad state!!!
