The Titans have a lot of good players. Problem is they can't find consistency at the QB position. If Locker would've stayed healthy this season, they would've made some noise. Lets see who they hire and what they do at QB. Make a few good moves, and you could be looking at a playoff contender.

Hammer can drink again and celebrate! :suds:

I AM going to celebrate tonight! :yahoo:

I feel bad for Munchak but he's not qualified and won't ever be a head coach in this league again. He's an OL coach, not a head coach. His downfall was inflexibility with staff changes (like firing the inept OC) and not demanding accountability. He should have been fired after the fifth game season before last when we set records for defensive futility. Instead, week-after-week it was the same old, worn out "We'll learn from this and get better next week."

I can't even tell you how excited I am that we're in the market for a head coach. I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight. A dynamic new coach and draft picks that will play Week 1 next season has me very excited. It's going to be interesting to see what direction they go with Locker now.

Munchak's record against teams that finished with a winning record: 2-20.

I heard it was 3-20 but makes no difference. This is a performance-based business and he never performed.

Expect PSL sales in Nashville to be brisk.

My point is the titans need to improve at the skilled positions to see if Munchak is worth keeping or not. If your skilled players are garbage than your coach will look like trash also

Jake Locker and Chris Johnson are garbage. Riiiiiiiiiight.

can't blame him for CJ playing like shit for the last several yrs.

He's never "played like shit" since he came in the league. Who has more yards over the last six seasons? Foolish statement but I understand your motivation.

Titans lost a lot of close games.

I guess 'scrappy' would be a good way to personify them? They definitely don't come across as bums.

It's obvious what happened. Hammer got Munchak fired. The team was ready to keep him, but they came on Sports SportsHoopla this morning and saw this topic. They then realized "Oh shit. We fucked up" and fired Munchak immediately.
