Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy bacon
Babcock healthy scratching Mike Modano for a bunch of games so he wouldn't reach 1,500 games played is just downright petty and stupid.
How pro players with media in their faces all the time don't let anything slip even off the record for so long is strange to me.
What Babcock "did" to Marner doesnt look so bad now, does it?
The advantages these reporters and insiders have and therefore usually don't rock the boat but if any of them knew about this stuff they are guilty for holding on to these stories as well. They maintained the status quo as well.
gotta be a bunch of players and coaches (current and past) getting pretty nervous.is this hockeys #metoo moment ?
Meh. We knew that four years ago. Zetterberg all but said he was happy Babs was gone the following training camp. Carlo’s just trying to join in on the fun despite the fact he’s basically been a Babcock fan boy for the past two years on TSN radio every morning. Probably noticed that Jeff O’Neill was getting a lot of publicity for going in on Babcock (and to be fair to Jeff, his attitude toward Babs for his entire time here has been lukewarm to outright dislike, a very rare voice in this market to have done so) and wanted in.

I'm assuming Mike Keenan's mind-fuck stories could fill a book.
Oops ... cut and paste mishap ... left out the kill shot100%
When Canuck defenceman Grant Ledyard (with the team’s permission) went to Dallas to be with his wife, who was receiving cancer treatments, Keenan had Ledyard’s locker-room stall cleaned out.

jesus christ.Oops ... cut and paste mishap ... left out the kill shot
Keenan told the players that Ledyard had abandoned them.
Wasn't this already debunked or am I remembering incorrectly?
Mike Commodore and Jeff O'Neill have both mentioned it over the past couple of days.
Well fuck, they'd never cite something that was incorrect. I guess I'm wrong
I'm gonna take 5 minutes to look at game logs when I get a chance but my initial glance suggests to me that Modano was barely healthy scratched in that final season, if at all.
lol - Not the best sources I realize - Maybe we should get Mike Modano on the phone and ask him about Babcock in his final NHL season?
