Apparently Kevin Kietzman of 810 WHB is reporting that Tejada actually had a medical exemption to allow him to take Adderall. Problem supposedly is that after the exemption expired on April 15... Tejada didn't renew.

If that actually is true, this has got to be one of the dumber players to be suspended.

The problem is that he's been abusing drugs his entire adult life. I doubt very seriously that anyone personally associated with him trusts him.

I will say that when he came to the Padres I was irate, and so were allot of other people. But it didn't take long to warm up to him and by all accounts he was a top-notch teammate. But at this point there has just been too much deceit and cheating. It's time for him to go away.
