Larry Bird only coached the Pacers because his sister is ugly.
You are joking, right? So you would want to be on the hook for that $56 million in 2028???
So yeah, I'd say age matters.
I'll simplify it since you wasted multiple paragraphs attempting to justify the actions of your LA prissy boy...
All three contracts are less than desirable, but...
- Kawhi is tradeable due to his championship pedigree.
- Embiid is tradeable because of his talent, even if he is a massive injury-risk.
- George is not tradeable not only because of his contract, but he lacks pedigree as well.
Philly is stuck with him regardless of whatever direction they may choose to follow in the next three years.
He is being paid well into his upper 30's as if he were LeBron, a multi-MVP winner.
Didn't he promise the Clippers this time last that he would re-sign?It is a bad contract.
Just like about 90% of star players end up on bad contracts at some point toward the end of their career when their play starts declining.
You created a thread about him because you have had an agenda regarding him since he left Indiana. Some of your logic is off and you have been called on it.
Simple as that.
He isn’t toiling away on rebuilding teams. He is toiling away on teams who are underachieving because their stars miss a lot of games.
Lakers are the second most winning franchise of all time and the most consistent over time.He hasn't... He'd been hiding his true colors all along.
Paul George is the first HOF talent in history to best identify as a Laker in spite the fact that he never played for them... There I said it. @logic @trojanfan12

I had actually gained respect for him during his later Clipper years thinking he had changed and grown up.

If you say so trumpie...Larry Bird only coached the Pacers because his sister is ugly.
He's the most undedicated "superstar" of all time. In spite his talent, he won't have his jersey retired by anyone due to his complete lack of loyalty. And he's most identifiable with a team he's never actually played for...Lakers are the second most winning franchise of all time and the most consistent over time.
I don't think that is what you are trying to say about Paul George, but I could be wrong.
Right after Kawhi extended George promised to re-sign.I don’t know.
Did the Clippers want to resign him?
Lots of moving parts here.
Right after Kawhi extended George promised to re-sign.
Let's not pretend Embiid's injury woes are somehow a new thing this year. George knew what he was getting into when he signed with them (or at least he should have)...
He will be forced to rebuild at age 36-38 and he will only have himself to blame for it.

And LOL @ Lakers being most consistent... Let's just pretend 2014-2019 never happened, why don't we.
I don’t know why you identify Paul George with any team he hasn’t played for. I haven’t heard anyone but you make that claim. George hasn’t helped any team win anything, so why would they be retiring his jersey? He's the most undedicated "superstar" of all time. In spite his talent, he won't have his jersey retired by anyone due to his complete lack of loyalty. And he's most identifiable with a team he's never actually played for...

LOL - You took the words out of my mouth- The aren't going anywhereAnd neither team is a contender for the same reason.
Best player can’t stay on the court.
Shocker.
personally - I always felt that the Lakers dodged a bullet when they missed on both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard - I argued with a friend that Lebron and Anthony was a far better combo - and they got one ring to show for it - What the Clippers get with those two ?And you're a proven dumbass. Why does what PG is making at 38 matter?
Oh yeah...it doesn't.
Also "team hopping" isn't exactly new. There are very few Kobe's or Steph's who play their entire careers with one team anymore. And even at that, can't speak to Steph, but Kobe was within a gnats pubic hair of leaving the Lakers at least twice in his career.
Why would PG be expected to be any different...oh yeah...because he left one of your teams.
Isn't that like taking candy from a baby?Oh damn! Am I gonna need fresh popcorn? You're taking cane to school.
