- Embiid is tradeable because of his talent, even if he is a massive injury-risk.

- George is not tradeable not only because of his contract, but he lacks pedigree as well.

Philly is stuck with him regardless of whatever direction they may choose to follow in the next three years.

He is being paid well into his upper 30's as if he were LeBron, a multi-MVP winner.

None of these guys are tradable on the contracts they are on.
No team is going to take on those injury histories regardless of the championship pedigree or talent at this point.

Lakers are the second most winning franchise of all time and the most consistent over time.
I don't think that is what you are trying to say about Paul George, but I could be wrong.

I don’t know why you identify Paul George with any team he hasn’t played for. I haven’t heard anyone but you make that claim. George hasn’t helped any team win anything, so why would they be retiring his jersey?

Yes, the Lakers have been the most consistent team. They have won the second most championships and have won across the most eras. The fact that you can only find one very short stretch to point to that was bad is just a testament to that.

personally - I always felt that the Lakers dodged a bullet when they missed on both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard - I argued with a friend that Lebron and Anthony was a far better combo - and they got one ring to show for it - What the Clippers get with those two ?

The only team dumb enough to take Kawhi - is someone doing a rebuild and is willing to take him for a bunch draft picks - Kwahi Leonard, Paul George, Lebron James and Anthony James will not win any championships in the future - but Only two of them did win a championship.
