He's an old man...and set in his ways..change scares people like him...complacency seems to be justifiable in his small world.......

I understnd not agreeing with change or even resisting it, but at this point all his jornalism amounts to be is a smear campaign which in the long run could hurt us in AD and coaching searches in the future of this university.

He had the chance to show his true WVU love last year when we broke 4 mil in the black since the year before he was whining about how far in the red we were.....but not a peep about it.

Mickey acts like every move made these days is the end of the university....sound familiar?

Agreed, but Craig had to fight the AD for any improvements to the wrestling program. Although wrestling is not viewed as important at WVU, it makes you wonder if there could have been improvements to the program if the AD would have supported it. Craig seemed to know how to fly under the radar but showed up on somebody's screen.

Mickey is not reporting news, he is expressing opinions. He'd be better off writing on a blog site, if the newspaper has one and let a guy who wants to report the news write for the paper.

Agreed on both accounts mad. Hell, Eddie didn't ant to put money into ANY program.

Pastilong didn't have the fire to go out and find ways to drive revenue...even when he was handed good ideas on a silver plate..example Rich Rodriguez made the suggestion there was more money to be made thru the Wv landing page...Pastilong took that as an annoyance...Luck took it and made an additional 15 million a year out of it...without much effort...

Hell, he probably loves it when he gets talked about on these boards, everyone runs to read the column, and his readership is up, which is all his bosses care about. It is not the differing opinion at all...most sportswriter snack up their opinion with some sort of fact...Mickey just writes a sentence saying his opinion and then never backs up why he has that opinion and why the differing opinion is wrong. First part of his writing is a perfect example, goes on and on about how great this coach was, but never really says why Luck was wrong in firing him.

We all have different opinions obviously...but one of the reasons I like this board is that most on here back up their opinion factual information....most of the time!

Luck is a genius. Holgersen, I wouldn't say that, not at this point in his career. He has a lot to prove. Mickey is just an idiot that has lost his mind.

With a lot of the comments he had to apologize for down the road from here, I am surprised he is letting Luck schedule two 1AA teams for 2015, Gee is a damn fine administrator, but he needs to leave the comedy to someone else.
