Michigan and Ohio State to be in same Division

Looking at how recruiting is going, I would be very glad to not be in the same division as Michigan and Ohio State.........

We are above all of the teams that would be in our division as far as recruiting goes.

And that is all I really have to say about that.

And also, the reality of it all is, Nebraska and Wisconsin have formed a hatred for each other in a quick fashion...........

Getting us in the same division as them is important to the BIG as well........not as important as getting Ohio State and Michigan together, but still they see a rivalry a-brewing......

As much as we want Iowa to be our team we hate the most.........or Michigan or what have you............Wisconsin will end up being that team we fucking despise on a yearly basis. I guarantee it.

BTW: Meat Chicken hold like around 30,000 more fans than Memorial Stadium. Does it make them better no, but it does help.

1st of all, yes, Wisconsin has been the class of the B1G the past few years.

2nd of all with the expansion Nebraska's stadium will avg about 92k fans a game starting next year w/ fans right on top of the players as opposed to MU where the nosebleeds don't even get into the game.

Wisconsin's been the best team in the B1G for a long time now.

Nebraska's been just as good or better than Michigan.

If there was a "stronger division" with that alignment, it would undoubtedly be the West.

You can't even say that Michigan is trending up right now. They aren't.

You can't say with certainty that Wisconsin is trending down.

The writing is on the wall, but it remains to be seen.

Just because Michigan seats a couple thousand more people in their stadium doesn't make them any better than Nebraska and it certainly hasn't made them better than Wisconsin. Not as of late.

Kind of what I was thinking. Sure OSU looks to be great for the foreseeable future but PSU isnt going to be their usual caliber and Rutgers, Maryland, Indiana and Purdue???? Eh. I would much rather be in that division. You would only really have to worry about 2 teams for the next few years at least.

Well, personally I measure the toughness of the division based on what your chances are of winning that division........

If Nebraska was in a division with Michigan and Ohio State alone.......even with no other teams in the division..........I would be concerned that we would never win the division.

If Nebraska was in a division with Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, etc........ well, then I'd be assured that we will win every single year.
