Talented with blinding speed and a canon of an arm was Michael Vick. Those God-given abilities disguised and presented an offset to the skills where he was shoddy as a QB. Michael knew how to throw to Algie for short, open passes. Also, Michael knew how generate that phenomena where he handed the ball off to Warrick. Without great throwing accuracy, Michael was a severe threat during Boots; Warrick ran strong on Counters, too. Oh, that lovely 54% completion pct.

Michael, overall, was far from a great QB, in the NFL, during his entire career, in the NFL.

RIP Mike Vick's career. Guy was electrifying with the Falcons and even with the Eagles at times.
A very overrated QB in my opinion.

One of the bigger piles of garbage to enter the NFL - both as a human and the fact that it became a trend to find the athletic guy to pretend to be a QB.

I may have rooted against the man but he was sure fun to watch.

Same here.

It's a broad title but would he not be the most elusive QB of all time?
I think he has the rushing yards title for a QB.

Cam is coming up fast but he had an off year for rushing.

I think all of the crying he did this year muddied up the field and affected his traction.

Michael Vick took a team to the NFC title game who's best wideouts were Peerless Price, Dez White and Brian Finneran. That alone should get him in the HOF lol

04' was the weakest year the NFC has put out as a whole in the last 30 years. Two 8-8 teams made it as wild cards and won games in their respective division champions' buildings. Beating Marc Bulger handily is not really a special accomplishment.

The only good team in the NFC that year was the Eagles and it showed.

Somebody offers him a guaranteed league minimum. He'd restart his HOF clock, assuming he doesn't get in tonight. A net worth of $0 will do that to you.

No matter what you read or watch when it comes to his career recap, you'll probably always see or hear the words "what could have been". In his prime he was an electrifying playmaker like never seen before. He'll never be considered amongst the greatest QBs, but nevertheless he'll always be remembered for his style of play. If only he had an IQ to go with his skillset he could have had a very prolific NFL career.

Adios Mike. Thanks for the memories.
