Champ Bailey being traded to Denver is the other half of the equation though. He was my favorite UGA player at the time and he had just been traded to Denver when I was starting to watch the NFL. At the time, the only basis I had on NFL players were the ones I remembered from their college days.

After the 2015 season, he was already retired.

I was never a Vick fan, but he has been a decent human since his release from prison. Here a good article penned by Vick a few days ago.
