Michael Thomas is going to have a solid career at WR in the NFL. He's a great route runner, very good hands, and with him and DeSean Jackson, and if you still have Garcon, man that is going to be a great receiving corp. Thomas was our #1 WR at the OSU. His numbers could have been better, but the Buckeyes were loaded with offensive weapons. I think you guys should be thrilled if you are indeed targetting him. Btw, he is the nephew of Keyshawn Johnson. Pretty good bloodlines.

I wouldnt be upset with this pick. I know we need D-line help, but the draft is much deeper at D-line than WR. And depending on how it unfolds, we might be able to trade down, get Thomas, and pick up that extra draft pick some of us have been lusting after .

John Keim had an interesting response to all the current media speculation that we're looking at Thomas: never trust anyone in the media that tells you that any team is targeting any player months before the draft. Can't find that tweet, but it was a pretty amusing retort to others who were throwing that stuff around.

Depending on whom we pick up, I think we pick up a DT, DE, and C with our first three picks. That, of course, can change depending on who falls where.

How many picks do you have? I would go Thomas and then just build the defense with the picks remaining. Now KC should put up another solid year again. That will be a scary group to cover.

I agree this is a deep defensive line draft but there are not a lot of pass rushing linemen. That may be why we would look at Thomas over DL.

Didn't know this about Michael Thomas: he's Keyshawn Johnson's nephew. Not saying that's bad, but just saying.

mall, I know you are a ohio st fan but don't you think Thomas at #21 would be too high? Yes the DL is deep in this draft and if we did pass on the DL in the 1st round I would rather have a guy like Kelly vs Thomas.

Most writers have Thomas off the boards in 1st round. If the Skins were in a better situation, I'd gamble w Braxton Miller and use him as a Percy Harvin type. Gruden would do some amazing plays w him IMO.

Elliot is the only offensive player I would draft in the 1st rd. Other than that we need to draft a DL or LB. Remember the GB game. Enough said.

No love for Kelly in the first redskin4029? Thomas could go late 1st round no doubt. I just think its a big reach at #21.

Hello dean who is Kelly. I concur Thomas is a little bit of a reach. I just feel we desperately need help on the DEf.

Center is a need there's no doubt but not at 21. But that's my opinion. Who would you take.

For those that wonder, Thomas is rated as one of the top 3-5 WRs in this draft class. 3rd currently by Walters. Now Im just tossing it out there, but I know one or two of the posters around here tend to put alot of stock in Walters draft ratings.

Im just saying.

I realize we need D-line help, and secondary and ILB for that matter..... But lets not pretend we dont need a WR taller than 6 foot and younger that 29 which our top two receivers happen to be.

Hey Shark Wr is a need also. This draft is really deep in the Def area, so one could gamble and take the center or the WR early in the 1st rd. But I am still having horrible flashbacks in regards to our Def in the GB game. Def is the way for me. A good Def will take you to the next level.
