If they trade Boykin it might be for Dion straight up. And it would increase the likelihood of a corner at 20 so they could move Thurmond inside. Dion would do better here because I always thought he was a space player more than a 4-3 DE anyway. But by doing this you're making a bad secondary even worse, at least short-term potentially.

If that's really true then Boykin is gone. I love Boykin and he's a playmaker, which we don't have in the secondary other than him, but if Chip and Billy want size they are going to craft a roster with size.

Murray came here for 50 million dollars. Murray's people were in talks with the Eagles before he knew Bradford was traded.

We are not sure it is Boykin they want. Omar Kelly a reporter for Maimi reported they have interest in an Eagles DB. Now Boykin makes sense, but maybe they want Carroll back?

Also it almost sounds like it has to be a player for player deal because the Maimi GM has come out and said several times he wants more picks. Having traded a 3rd already for Stills I can see him taking advantage of Chips Oregon bias and trying to get Boykin and a pick for Dion Jordan, who is a bust at the NFL level.
