The Heat were better off when Hassan was on the bench. He comes in and insist on continuing the jump shoots even though he is struggling in the time he has played.
I blame Spo for allowing this in training camp/pre-season in allowing Hassan to mix in more jumpers and sometimes 3's . He should be preaching to the guy to play like the center that he is - he won't do it otherwise.
The Heat are a signature 3rd quarter meltdown away from letting the Warriors run away with this one - although the Warriors may already have this one locked with this late second quarter collapse that has the Heat trailing by 13 at the half
He wanted to make it a one-on-one type thing and started taking bad shots(jumpers) and it contributed to his struggles and that is THE reason he deservedly got benched.
Maybe next time he will play like the center that he is.
I always complain about a lack of attacking to the basket by the Heat but this stat obviously proves otherwise.
That being said, how many of these attacks actually result in a basket or at least FT chances? I am betting that number is low compared to other teams and that is what needs to improve.
