As good as Ellington was the other night, he has been awful in this game particularly in the 4th with his poor shot selection and brain lapses. Hassan also had some lapses in his 6 minutes of work. Expected L on the road. Their best players stepped up and we had no one.

Yep really no complaints. We actually played a more complete game than we did against Charlotte.

This was a one possession game with under a minute to go with no Dragic or Tyler.

Get those guys back and go on a mini 3 game win streak.

I think this is the first time all season we get multiple guys back from injury in one day/game?

As you said, the question now becomes: For how long? it seems like every time we get someone back, someone else goes down... its like a bad trade or something.

Have to think McGruder is back around the AS break.

Have no idea about Okaro but not too concerned about him. Hard to see him playing with our current big rotation. In his case, it's more about having another body available.

That's bad. Nothing against Jones Jr but the fact that we are now to less than 10 days for both 2 way players is very concerning since we're only in January

I know we cant sign him to 2-way contract, but how about Briante Weber reunion of sorts? Give the guy a REAL shot with the Heat finally? The Heat can simply let go of A.J. Hammons as Ira has pointed out many times to open up a roster spot without having to really let go of anyone else.

They can deal with whatever roster move is necessary for the return of McGruder/Okaro when those moves actually become a real need.

-2 after 1 for Heat. Bad shooting start and a lot of finger pointing from James Johnson compared to anything else he is doing in this game so far.

A chance at a final shot - JJ rushes it and has a classic turnover - Tied at the half. Heat have to clean things up at the half because this one should be over by now

-8 to start the second half as the Heat still havent found their rhythm in this game and Hassan taking the ball and shooting from too far from the basket to make himself useful to his team

Spo works his magic of sitting down some of the regulars and the guys off the bench provide a spark to get us back in this game

All that sloppiness for the Heat and they are at least able to take a 1 point lead into the 4th.

Hassan in to start the 4th so that should momentarily stop the cries and bitching about his lack of 4th quarter playing time - lets see if he actually can make himself more useful now than the previous 3 quarters

Take over time has arrived for the Heat and they are about to finally put the finishing touches on this one

Back to what I said earlier, Heat get 1 player back from injury -- another one gets banged up at some point in that same game -- Its just a fact of life this season for the Heat
