Decent start for the Heat - most probably thought they would be getting blown out by now - That said, they cant let Aldridge shoot from 3 - if they do, its over and we will get blown out

Hassan making an impact on both ends of the court already

Decent first quarter - if the Heat can contain Aldridge they should be ok - if they dont, it will get ugly

Refs been calling that illegal screen a lot lately - but theyve been right for the most part

Aldridge out of the game and the Heat cant take advantage - Birdman against a fast Portland team wont end well

Bad Wade tonight so far - he needs to go back to the Wade of a few days ago where he played the role of facilitator rather than trying to be a score first player - he needs to get his guys involved to make himself useful while the team is down - he cant continue to force the issue as he is now

Heat went down in this game with Dragic and Deng on the bench and Johnson and Birdman in - not a surprise - thats not on the coach - He nas to make subs at some point - Its just going to be important for our starters to do most of the damage - we dont have much off the bench outside of Beasley and Chalmers

Wade, Dragic, Hassan back in with UD and they make a run - hopefully we get more of that and more of the aformentioned guys on the bench to stay there

Heat need to be flawless the rest of the second quarter to get back in the game - Blazers in the penalty already, and unlike the Heat, they will take advantage

This will be much like the Cleveland game for the heat but not in their favor - any time they attempt to make a run - Portland will stop it and start one of their own that increases the margin far too large for the Heat to recover from

30 points in the paint for the Heat as our broadcasters said - if they keep attacking, they will get back in this - no more outside shots

More from our starters and just use Beas, Chalmers and maybe even Napier and Walker off the bench instead of TJ and Birdman and we will be able to keep up

As always, the Heat coaching staff made all the right adjustments at half time and the Heat have executed so far in the 3rd quarter down 2 into the 4th - its up to them now
