Matt Barnes, Tyreke Evans and I believe Ben McLemore among the names to become available after the DeMarcus Cousins to New Orleans trade having been complete last night -- Any interest in acquiring any of these guys for the Heat?

Evans is/was a quality player when healthy - MB can do a thing or two still as well

He needs to be brought back into the mix slowly. There should be no talk about whose minutes/spot in the rotation is compromised because of his return. He wasn't playing up to par prior to injury - so there is no reason to just give him a spot in front of anyone. -- he needs to be brought along slowly and needs to earn his spot on the rotation/starting 5

With the way things go for us as far as injuries -- whose to say we are " extremely deep" at any position.

I mean, you have a very valid point in that regard. But, again, with our luck with injuries -- I don't think there is ever such a thing as being extremly deep.

Of course, the hope is our guys continue to get healthy - no one else gets hurt for extended period and we can survive with what we got.

I would prefer Barnes because he is a free agent and we can just sign him for the rest of the year. Acquiring McLemore would require a trade which I am totally against because he's just not that good

on a different note, what if any movies do you all expect the Heat to make at the deadline? What moves, if any, would you like them to make?

I know many will say its not necessary because of how many we already we have at the position. But, the guy has been rumored to the Heat many of times in his short career for a reason - I'm on board to add Thornton, if not for our possibilities in what remains of this season, at least for the future
