NBA midseason grades for all 30 teams

Confidence is a common denominator that has been mentioned by many NBA writers as something lacking for the Heat. And the one thing that is hindering them from further developing into the team they are capable of - flaws included. And injuries aside. But this is due to what I said earlier, we have to get away from just running plays for just two guys --and open it up for some of our other weapons - hard for them to have confidence -- especially when struggling, if they don't ever get their chances in other situations.

My biggest takeaway from the first half of this season. I still have no idea if this team is any good. I could see us going to the ECF and I could see us being eliminated round 1. The only thing I am sure of, is the one thing I knew before this season started... this team can't shoot.

For the McRob doubters and haters - those of you who are blessed like me to watch the game through the local broadcast - He has been participating more in practice and shoot around in recent days - obviously no official word on his progress health-wise, but I would say the fact that he is doing those things is a sign of progress for him. He is obviously still aways away for them to give a time table, but do think he will be back soon enough.

No notable absences for the Bucks outside of Mayo - these guys always playoff tough. If the Heat can keep the turnovers down they should be just fine

Five star Miami basketball commit Dewn Huell is a McDonald's All-American

Fellow Canes fans here probably already know about this kid - but for the rest of you , if you follow CBB, this is a guy to keep an eye on - Still just in HS. He has the chance to be the next best thing for Canes BB and could develop even further towards a pro career. Another big man target for the Heat in the future? Lets just hope the Heat don't compromise the present for the unknown future --- as they usually do. He is still young.

The NBA should have just kept the heat on the road. I don't see the logic in having a team go home after a 6 game roadtrip to only start another 5 game roadtrip tomorrow. As E-Reid said it is basically as 12 game roadtrip

Bosh needs to have a monster game. Johnson looked like he was about to cry he was getting dominted so much. The home crowd will hopefully settle and get these boys close to vistory if they are still close. Wade not playing well and Hassan getting outplayed by the oppossing center. Hope it is Richardson's coming out party.

Yeah Silver made the schedule better by cutting down B2B and 4 games in 5 nights. He need to fix this next. No team in the league should have such an unbalanced schedule where they play 14 of 16 on the road or at home. Its just stupid

2 early fouls for TJ and to the bench. As I was always afraid of when we traded Rio - the guy is a good complimentary player - but when so much is asked of him - his limitations are greatly exposed.

Early 3 for G-Squared hope thats a sign of good things for him tonight and he can stay healthy
