After beating the Jets, Fins right back in the thick of it and this game vs Pitt will be another elimination game of sorts as Pitt along with the Ravens are direct opponents we are facing for the last WC spot… We will need BALT to lose a few games down the stretch. What is the sked like?

based on head to head overall matchups - Fins woud be the 6th seed entering next week if Chargers beat bengals despite having lost to Ravens earlier in the season.

I think he meant if there was a 3 way tie the Fins come out on top. Head to head they lose to ravens. Either way Diego lost. Hard to know who to cheer for!

You guys are right - The Fins would have owned the tie break had it been a 3-way tie,which is what I was trying to say - But, things didnt go as planned - We will have to run the table and hope the Ravens drop a game or two along the way which is possible. For us, we have the Steelers then, Cheatriots, Bills and Jets - Of those last 3 division games, the Bills game is the only road game… Not a big believer in there being a difference when a game is played at home or on the road, especially with the crowds we draw but I know it is a factor in the minds of many.

Play calling on offense in certain situations today was once again a mind-blowing problem and we need to correct that for the remaining games.

We can not waste a single possession in the final 4 games - Even if that means settling for FGs - it is a lot better than going for it on 4th down and falling short and putting yourself in a tougher position.

Btw, Brent Grimes is still a baller. Follow his wife on twitter: Miko Grimes is her name, cant remember her twitter name right now - but she tweets good stuff every game and some times does give aways , of course related to Brent.

I didn't mind the 4th and goal as the jets O was going no where but it was the tough pass that was called. In the end they got the ball back in good field position for another try. Either way they can't miss opportunities down the stretch as that's killed them all year....

Ravens might be getting Dennis Pitta and some others back soon from injury - Not good news for us. This could be when they get hot. We have to keep it going and hope they drop a game or two.

Since no one seems to be a fan here of Sherman as OC - how about Kubiak as OC if he doesnt catch on as NFL coach?

Fin Fans I Come In Peace

Good win last week. Only saw bit and pieces on the game, but it looked more dominant on the stat line.

6th seed, I think 9-7 is safe, 8-8 tie breaker is what I'm expecting...BAL has remaining, MIN, @ DET, NE, @CIN...I think they will lose at least one of those, maybe 2.

On this game...I like the Steeler OFC weapons vs the Dolphin back 4, but I don't like the PIT OL vs MIA front 4...starting a new C for the 3rd time this year...I picked PIT only because they are home, & LeBeau's record vs young QBs is pretty strong.

I expect a lot of bump-n-run coverage on Wallace with a S high, so it will be interesting to see how many targets he gets. Hartline gets the brunt is my guess.

I would be perfectly fine with that although let's see what Sherman does the remainder of the year first. Maybe he'll get his head out of his ass!

I know I am in the minority as per usual, and I am proud of that - But, I am good with Sherman. I have always said that while some of the play calls are questionable, it still ultimately comes down to execution and we have stunk at that too many times.

Also something I have been saying for a while is, Philbin has to step in and have more say in the play calls and over-turn Sherm every once in a while.

This would be something Philbin has to consider doing in this final stretch of games. At worst, we can go 3-1 in this strech and still have a chance but going 4-0 would be best. A loss today could be lethal to our playoff chances.

Looks like a draft pick will also be taken away from the Steelers RE: Tomlin stepping on to the field while the ball is live.

I personally thought the fine was enough and feel docking a draft pick is a bit of a reach.

Saw this interesting stat justn on ESPN’s bottom line regarding our matchup - Big Ben has thrown 19 of his 21 TDs to a WR - While Miami has only allowed 1 TD to a WR all season long.

More than anything, I think this speaks to how bad we cover TE’s which is who we give up the most TDs and big plays to.

One of the bigger inactives other than Kiesel is Beachum... He has been the starting LT for the last 8 games or so after we demoted the supposed starter (Adams). Now Adams is starting today and that scares the hell out of me!!! Your ROLB & RDE should have a great day.

But there are hobbled players all along the O-line today. Could only be a matter of time before they aggravate their injuries, then we will REALLY be in trouble. Should be a good game though! Snow on the ground here in the Burgh, so we should see a lot of ground game work.
