What was the # 1 impact Sloan had on you?

Malone: #1, he played the game. He played the game. He was an All-Star, so he knew what it was like.

Mail Man: Have you ever heard of a thing as rest? Rest? Now guys want a night off.

People come to see certain players play. I'd be upset if I came to see a player and he was resting.

What's the state of the Utah Jazz?

Mail Man: We need our big guys, our two big guys, to play well. If they play well, we're in games and we're winning. If they don't, we're losing.

And our young PG, Burke, when he learns to play, that kid is very talented.

Young, but I really like what we have.

Derrick Favors will probably be the most talented big man in the league. I'll go on record as saying that.

Enes Kanter, he works hard, but he's very raw.

One of these kids didn't play college ball, and the other played 1 year.

The upside is huge. If we keep these guys, it will be huge. You win with big guys.

The talent is unbelievable.

Broadcaster: They decided to get rid of Millsap and Jefferson . . .

Mail Man: You know what they say, be careful what you wish for. You want more minutes, you got it. (About Favors).

Mail Man: I've never seen so much body armor on. Leave that for the military.

All of these leggings, sleeves.

Mail Man: I would love to work with Blake Griffin.

Blake, the next time one of these guys cheap shots you, just lose your mind.

Blake Griffin, I really love to see him play.

(Also said he liked Durant, James, and Aldridge).

The bench is scoring, but I wish the starters were doing more.

You win with your starters. They have the most impact on games, they play the most minutes.

I could read more into this game if it was because of the starters. If it's because of the bench, it feels like just one of those "once in blue moon" games.

If the Jazz were leading because of the starters, it would feel more reliable.

66-71 end of 3rd.

Again, this is more about the Warriors playing bad, then the Jazz well.

Jazz defense is average.

Their shot creation is below average, for today. They're trying to get good looks, but they don't look like they have the talent to make them.

I guess trying to get good looks is 40% of the battle.

What I like about Rudy is that he's involved in every play. Whether they're mistakes or nice attempts, at either end of the floor, I can feel his presence.

For some reason, all of the Jazz players just left the paint.

Bogut then had an alley oop reverse layup, which he paused, then made in slow motion.

Hayward then had a decent pass to Rudy, but I guess either Rudy couldn't catch it, or Hayward mis-timed the pass.

Turnover.

Burke to Kanter pick and roll stops a 12-0 Warriors run.

Outside of Rudy, this was one of the worst games of the year.

What did you think, MHSL82?

Gortat is worse at catching the ball than John Lucas III is shooting it. I never thought I would say that about anyone.

I would've gotten a really good shot of John Stockton but this woman behind me asked me to explain how her phone works. Why do I help people?

The game is too long. They should have just ended it at nine minutes left with the Jazz up by eight. I don't know why they bother to play the last eight minutes. It's pointless, all you do is lose. And before anyone says that's a good thing, we have Golden State's pick. We needed to win this game.

I blame ESPN. If the game were at seven like it's supposed to, the Jazz would've won. Or if they hadn't played the game, the Jazz wouldn't have lost.

I think they should have honored Sloan when they were playing the Phoenix Suns. I have no idea, other than it being on ESPN, why they chose today. In fact, ESPN may have decided to cover this game because of that and not the other way around.
