Jarvis Jenkins was drafted by the Redskins two years ago. He missed his rookie season due to injury, but started 14 of 16 games for the Skins last year. Merling will likely make roster due ti unjuries and suspensions.

There is zero reason for Carriker to take an injury settlement. Skins will either pup him or IR him. But reality is he wont be able to catch on with another team until week nine or later after this last surgery. So taking an injury settlement would simply cost him money. So no need for him to agree to it. He would make more on IR.

jarvis jenkins was a 2nd round pick by us 2 seasons ago . he tore an acl in year one in TC and started in year 2 after carriker got hurt

Jenkins was drafted by the skins and is on the roster. He is the penciled in starter at left DE, but is suspended the first 4 games due to illegal substance.

yes we do and it gives us another possible veteran d/lineman who can play multiple positions for us

but he has to keep it up

Wrong! Jarvis Jenkins was drafted in the 2nd rd in the 2011 draft by the Redskins, I think your thinking about Jarvis Jones who was drafted by the Steelers in the 1st rd of April's draft.
