So you don't share access with other members of your family? Can't they download the app and you give them an ID & Password?

its all local network only, everything is signed in as the same user/pw for the server. Nothing is shared outside the household i dont even have remote server ports open/enabled

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY ONLINE. YOU CAN'T GET THROUGH ON THE TELEPHONE. THEY PURPOSELY HANG UP ON YOU. YOU CAN'T E-MAIL THEM EASILY. THE SELLER SOLD ME A DEFECTIVE USED VCR AND CLAIMED IT WAS WORKING. THIS IS FRAUD! I'M CONTACTING AMERICAN EXPRESS AND I WILL DISPUTE THIS CHARGE AND I WILL NOT PAY FOR IT BECAUSE THE SELLER WAS FRAUDULENT AND MERCARI PURPOSELY IS DECEPTIVE IN THAT IT CREATES UNDUE DIFFICULTY AND IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO RETURN ITEMS THAT SUPPOSEDLY ARE GUARANTEED. I'M ALSO CONTACTING THE FTC TO INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANY FOR UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. JUST WAIT, I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED TO SEE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST MERCARI. FOLKS, DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THANK YOU AND I SURE HOPE MY REVIEW HELPS YOU.

Yea before i bought what i did i had no idea they only had a 3 day return policy and that they rarely if ever honored it, and they seem to have mixed reviews for screwing over both buyer and seller. Unfortunately sometimes used items are the only ones in existence to purchase when you want/need that one specific item Thankfully i didnt get hosed the worst part is the parts came from a smokers house and could smell it on it.

Is that just your own personal preference and setup?....I thought Plex did have the ability to stream from anywhere through the mobile app.

You can set it up to stream outside your house. There is no need for me to do that though.

I dont buy something so important from a vitual black hole on the internet. My next computer will be solid state. No moving parts
