If Memphis has a pair they could play that game on Oct 28th.

UCF is open and Memphis plays Tulane on the 27th. Just play Tulane on Friday
and fly to Orlando for the Saturday game.

Another Tennessee team did something similar once. Sewanee University (The Univ of the South)
Played 5 games in a 6-day road trip. They shutout Texas, Texas AM, Tulane, LSU and Ole Miss.
That was in 1899.

I don't think anyone in modern days would ever play two games in two days this isn't baseball

We'll see what the American does, they could try to manipulate the schedules to get this game as well as South Florida/UConn in

In regard to "team preparation" I would agree. But not from the physical aspect.
Teams don't practice once a week and individuals work a great deal harder in practice
than they do in a game.

In a game there are never more than 11 doing something at any given time. In practice
they all are doing something for two hours
