UK Cowboy
Happy Father's Day T-Roy
After being in ''deep negotiations'' with the Seahawks, Melton is headed to Dallas to meet with the Cowboys. As an RM favorite, I'd be stunned if he leaves town without a deal
Just read that article on Blogging the boys. Didn't know he tore his ACL last year that kind of worries me.

That's the only reason he is available right now. You get him for the right deal and take a chance on him.

That could be a good sign for Dallas, assuming they want him as bad as people think they do. If this guy left Seattle, I'm thinking he wants more than a homecoming. He wants to get paid. Seattle likely tried to sell him on a great situation in regards team success, but perhaps this guy decided that he was looking for something else?
Nit to be a dick right now, but how have you not heard of this already?
Melton has said he'd love to play for Marinelli again. I think that's why he scheduled Dallas last. This way he'd get a look at the other offers first. If we're close he signs here. If not he probably goes to Seattle for a chance at a ring.
Melton, Donald and Spencer on the cheap would be solid.
let him go then he's not worth a big payday coming off of micro fracture surgery anyway.
Not so sure Spencer wants to be here. Visited Redskins and now Giants.
Even before the injury he did not play well enough for a big payday.
I say we get Milton on a good deal, and the rest draft.
You 100% nailed it here
You guys shoulda seen this guy play HS runningback at Grapevine HS at 260 lbs. My youngest son (185 lbs) played LB against him and he had 9 tackles that night but he looked like a truck had hit him for 3 days. This guy really wants to play in Dallas for a variety of reasons but Jerry is going to have to extend a contract at 4/5 years to fit the required money for this skill set
I suspect you're right about the length of the deal. To get this guy under contract, it's probably going to take more than a franchise friendly commitment.
