He needs just 40 yards to eclipse Herman Moore's 9,174 yards.

It also looks like he'll be going over the 10,000 yard mark already next year. I gotta imagine he'll be one of the fastest/youngest to 10,000 ever...

It is a shame he had to deal with some bad QBs prior to Stafford.

One of his best games ever was with Drew Stanton under center. But yeah, Kitna and Daunte and Dan were pretty terrible. Break the record in a win CJ!!!

He's an animal. It's unfair. If Megatron had had Manning, Brady, Rivers or Rodgers prior to Stafford he'd have demolished every record ever set.

Must have a bad memory, clearly you forgot about Dan Orvlosky. Super Elite.

CJ, at 125 ypg over the next 4 games would get to 1800 again. If he averages 138 ypg then he breaks Jerry Rice's mark again.

More important than all of the records i am impressed because he's not a douchebag.

And to think JaMarcus Walrus was drafted ahead of CJ.

Toast to Al Davis and the purple juice!

I meant by now! :D

I figured..lol
But Stafford was only 2 seasons behind wasn't he?
That still gives these two fellas a long career together, in which I'm sure many records will be broken.

And a safety i guess? We've come a long way from those days Gentlemens.

The best way to demonstrate how far the Lions have come would be to beat the queens on their home field for the last regular season game and the last game before that stadium is raised. They have owned the Lions previously. It would be nice to leave them with that last impression being "Welcome to Loserville, queens."

I'd imagine the "Queens" would say, "Thanks for the invite, but we don't want to intrude"...

I'm just curious who would you bet on having more receiving yards by end of the year, Josh Gordon or Calvin? Gordon has been beasting lately..

I will take CJ. Mainly weather reasons. CJ's last three are indoors correct? Then QB play will factor in.
Earlier stated in this post. You will ask same question of Gordon in a few years. " what if he had a stable QB???

How many seasons did Calvin go through that? In 2008, CJ had 12 TDs and over 1300 yards for a team that went 0-16 and put something like 5 different quarterbacks on the field.
