I'll go along with everything you've said. Tenn does not play good
HS football. Like every state they have a couple of teams loaded
with talent, but overall there isn't much depth for talent in that
state.

You have to be able to recruit out-of-state players.

One poster has already written this, but there is a terrible culture
at UT. Until that is repaired...until the "good guys" control the locker room...over the "bad guys" they will be also-rans, if that.

Nothing but quitters at UT right now. Quitters and thugs. They need a total house cleaning there. They have to basically, start
over and suffer thru some lean years, to ever return to greatness.

I have a feeling that UT’s biggest issue has to do with boosters and interference with the program. Everyone wants their say. The culture will clean up and sending a kid to the locker room is a good start.
