has us taking Peppers at #17. Kiem commented on that mock saying Peppers is basically the same player as Cravens but a better athlete and he thinks that we wouldn't take Peppers there. I said the same thing when I started the Thread with the safeties.

Why mock us a player. He says he doesn't think the skins will do ? How can I attach any meaning to that stupid shit : it is worth he time to key board it

I'm starting to back off the whole Peppers @ #17 too. Nothing against him but, i'm buying into the hype of both the top rated OTs dropping, Barnett dropping and I'm wondering what is going on with McDowell?
I think Peppers is going to be great in a few years, especially in a 4-3.
Defense is deep, also lots of players in their 20's are going to get cut

If the Niners have their pick of QB's.... Im not seeing Watson as Kyle Shanahan's ideal choice.

IN about 35 days every mock out there will do a drastic left turn. Most of these are based on perceived team needs well in advance of free agency. What if the Niners make a deal for grap, that would effectively take them out of the QB market.

I see everyone (including me) mocking the Skins to take either D-line, ILB or Safety in the first round. But it would not shock me at all to see SMGM take an O-line or WR at 17..... would I throw shit at the screen?? Probably which is why the wife will likely make me watch the draft on the projector screen in the garage. BUt once I got past the wrench sticking out of the drywall, I can say Im not going to be overly shocked unless we draft QB, CB or a punter/waterboy in the first round.

what do you think about OJ Howard TE Bama at #17? Assuming we sign 2 dlineman, Ilb, and Safety in FA.

BEing totally honest. I havent even started looking at college players too much. Once we get through the first week of FA, and I have a better feel for what we might need in the draft, I will start looking deeper into players from that point.

i wouldnt throw shit at the screen if he pulled a starting no sexy LG . if we lose both our wrs and we dont get a FA one then maybe wr is in play too

now my needs are ranked as follows

d/line (as many as you can get )
safety (again as many as you can get )
ILB
LG
RB
WR
TE (blocking type )
CB (if we move breeland to safety )

now if you get me the best LG in the draft i wont shit the bed if he is the BPA at a position of need
i will grant you WR can be had later as could CB and TE

So you would take Lamp over Howard right now? What if Davis doesn't sign back?

b/c you are a BPA guy. I don't think lavou gets cut. Plus do you think they have given up on Kojo? Lamp also plays center too.

Kojo is raw with sloppy technique . i have stated my position as a draft guy . i am a combo guy . lamp , at 17 , at this point , addresses a need . number 4 on my list . . lavou will get cut if any of our back-ups takes the job from him
