When is he going to get the starting job? Barajas had a hot month or so, outside of that he's been consistently very shitty. Is there a big gap in defense and calling a game? I don't see it.... He's gotta get at least 2 or 3 starts a week.

At some point they gotta start sending him out there almost every day to see if this is a fluke or not.

sounds good to me.

we also have to see if he will be our future starter or whether we need to get someone.
rod can be back next year to back up mcK if we need (3.5M), but sanchez will isnt better than McK.
not sure who has the better arm and blocking but McK threw someone out toddya and is 10 yrs younger.
a whole lot cheaper as well.

Can't really comment on the game calling cause I have no idea who is better, or how much that actually matters. But I have no problem with McKenry playing more often, although I don't want him as the full time catcher cause I still don't buy he is this good of a hitter long term.

element - why do you think McKenry isn't this good of a hitter, he was better in the minors, so with the improved pitching it allows for the dropoff we have seen. He hit better than this last season right up until he got called for catchers interference, when the batter knocked his glove about 10 feet in front of the plate.
I was for McKenry being the catcher before the season, but looking back I am glad we got Barasjajajas because I think he helped McKenry, and I also think we should bring him back for next season on his option as a back-up to McKenry. Regardless, we are getting some very good production out of the catcher position.

His numbers are fueled by his SLG%, and I don't buy he is going to hit a HOUR every 12 abs, and have a ISO of .250+.

I can buy a 240/320/440 line, which would be fine, but not what he has now.
