I agree. McGregor took some hard shots to the body & head & that also slowed him down. That's in addition to McGregor's volume of punches thrown.

I think that McGregor didn't realize that Mayweather was able to hurt him. McGregor thought he would win a point decision if he didn't get an early KO. 40 year old Mayweather looked just as strong in round 10 as he did in round 1.

MMA fighters simply don't train to go 12 rounds. It's a totally different type of conditioning.

Well I was for Mac all the way with this fight, but I am glad I did not pay for that crap other than my current Showtime subscription for a dollar.

Floyd is a dirty fighter and was the one constantly turning his back to McGregor just playing him to be behind him with nothing to do but touch the back of his head. Too bad Connor did not let him feel some of those shots.

The announcer kept saying that too, but Pauli Malinaggi correctly pointed out Floyd wasn't turning his back. Floyd dodged one way and Conner instantly stepped the other way behind him to take his back. It was instant and natural looking, like he had trained all his life in a sport where taking a guys back is a near instant win.

There's nothing illegal about it, McGregor wasn't doing anything dirty by stepping behind him. It's just tgge end of any action and they have to restart the fight face to face. But it was absolutely Connor doing it.

Just depends who's side you were on. The ref eventually told Floyd it was him turning his back. It was a move that he knew would get a reaction from the ref and Connor. Remember, all Floyd said is I dont want any rabbit punches to the back of my head. By the 7th round watching his rabid kids yelling at Floyd, I was wondering if Floyd wanted him to fight or fuck him up the ass.

No the only sides to this are right and wrong. It's not a matter of opinion. And I'm not privy to either fighters private thoughts or wishes, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess neither one of them were looking to have anal sex on TV.

When have you ever seen a boxer turn his back on an opponent?

It was a dirty move with Floyd knowing the ref would get him off and eventually deduct points until the ref actually told Floyd he was the one doing it.

see, most of the boxing fans hated Floyd and his dirty tactics. He made his money while Boxing was being destroyed and overtaken by UFC. He was not enough to save the sport.

My friend just asked me about Canelo v GGG. Guess it's tonight. I know cats said this is the boxing match I need to watch to get me back in the game. Will try and search for it now. Fuck not even 11 in the morning and I'm already gone.
