Not taking anything away from Conor, but, all things considered, this was probably the most underwhelming performance of Mayweather's career.

When was he hurt? Please don't give me your 9th round BS story.
I couldn't really tell what happened there. It didn't look low from what I saw. But either way, I don't think Conor was about to "finish" him or anything.

Yeah. I don't think it was low but Conor was not about to finish Mayweather at all lol

He was stunned several times in the first 3-4 rounds (when McGregor did his best work).....he came to Mayweather and didn't "hurt" him......but the look on Mayweather's face clearly indicates he was a little stunned.

I've replayed that several times.....it wasn't low. Right around the belly button area.....I cant remember but the idney or iver is right there. Mayweather was hurt and bitched to the ref......

I think the ref did a very good job as well. I wonder if Mayweather went easy on him in the early rounds to give people a show.

I honestly think he was waiting for him to gas, which he did in a big way.

Add in that Mayweather was focusing on landing body shots in the first 5 rounds and that is the fight summary.

McGregor was so confident & he appeared clueless to what Mayweather was doing until it was too late. I usually give McGregor's coaches a lot of credit but he wasn't prepared. Mayweather even said that he was going to come straight at McGregor which is what he did from the mid rounds on. It's funny that people act like he accomplished something by winning early rounds. That is like saying that a marathon runner that didn't finish his race should be proud that he had the fastest first few miles. It wasn't just his endurance. McGregor can take a punch. Later on when he had no defense he took a lot of shots to the head.

McGregor could have never lasted the distance regardless of his pace.

I agree. McGregor took some hard shots to the body & head & that also slowed him down. That's in addition to McGregor's volume of punches thrown.

I think that McGregor didn't realize that Mayweather was able to hurt him. McGregor thought he would win a point decision if he didn't get an early KO. 40 year old Mayweather looked just as strong in round 10 as he did in round 1.
