So, I didn't watch it. But I saw the punches that lead to the ref stepping in and calling the match.

A few thoughts I do have though -

I'm kind of shocked CM lasted 10 rounds
Why exactly was the match called? CM looked to have his wits about him.

When ? When it was stopped or 10 minutes later when he was being interviewed and was whining about it being stopped ? Because he looked ok 10 minutes later, but unfortunately he doesn't get 10 minutes between rounds to recover. He looked defenseless and out on his feet to me when they stopped it.

As I stated, I didn't watch it. I just saw a clip of maybe the last minute or so, and he seemed alright. By no means great, but seemed alright.

Granted, I haven't watched a proper boxing match since Tyson.

He just needed to last the round. He was doing that. He was defending himself. Not 100% successfully, but that's not the rule.

Would Conner have survived ? Maybe not, but that is what was missed because the ref fucked it up.

This was supposedly two of the best fighters in our lifetimes, getting paid millions to settle this...and the fucking ref stops it before anyone even hits the canvass ?

It was a decent fight. Mayweather actually surprised me. He didn't run around this time. He did try to turn his back and wait for the ref to save him as he normally does but the ref called him out on it and Conner kept hitting him anyway...LOL.

For a 40 year old guy, Floyd was still quick AF and was throwing heavy punches. THAT was impressive !
