McCoy - Chip Kelly does not like or respect stars.

Snow is removable. I live in Rochester, basically the same weather (a little less snow). This year was ridiculously cold in February, but that's not the norm (and there isn't any NFL home games in Feb).

Pretty bold to laud your passing attack when your QB hasn't been on the field in almost 2 seasons and your WRs keep leaving. Buffalo clearly has superior WR/TEs right now. Buffalo OL does need improvement, but they're not terrible either. None of this has to do with the original point, which was exaggerating the weather difference. Maybe the cold trend of this past winter becomes the norm, but that remains to be seen.

Don't get me wrong, I still am a fan of Shady, but there are going to be some games this year where you think he's auditioning for Dancing With The Stars rather than being a RB and hitting the hole hard like you're supposed to.

I do like your receivers though. Wanna trade? We'll give you Cooper for Watkins straight up.

Yes I do. Buffalo averages over 93 inches of snow each year.

I agree that Shady would show more professionalism to just move on, and make positive comments about his new team instead of showing sour grapes.

That said, I think he has hard feelings about this and it is showing. And there is likely some truth in what he is saying as well. It is not just McCoy, but djax as well. I said from the start, my biggest concern was CK not valuing skillsets of a player, but having a mindset that he expects players to act like college kids - just happy to get playing time to make it to the NFL. This could very well be an issue, and cause him to create more holes and bypass on great talent because he can't handle ego, which often comes in elite players.

It's popular to just lambast McCoy, and I agree he is coming across as sour grapes, but if your completely objective about CK, there could very well be some truth in this as well.

Isn't DeMarco Murray a star?? Chip just wants players ho buy into his program. Simple as that. Just like Belichick does.

Shady just didn't want to go to Buffalo. Who can blame him really. Small market. Cold as anything. Hard to attract Free Agents.

When a player is paid at Market rate, his trade value is really worthless as you can sign a FA for the same price without giving up a player. So the beauty of this deal is they got Kiko, and then ultimately replaced McCoy with essentially the same guy at the same rate. And weakened the Cowboys at the same time.

All this really only possible because Buffalo has a hard time attracting Free Agents. Murray would not have signed there, so the only way for them to get the premium player was in trade or draft.

Really though, there should be no Shady hate. The guy played great for the Eagles and will probably do well in Buffalo as well. Kelly just saw an opportunity to get something for nothing.

Of course Kelly really didn't want Murray either. Gore is arguably just as good and was going to be much cheaper. Money they would have used for McCourty or Maclin. But once those plans didn't work out, why not spend the money on Murray.

OMG. It was his quotes about Chip as a coach. Djax wasn't even mentioned in the question, it was just for time reference. So Chip was a great coach and innovator 12 months ago and is now a college buffon.

Your making this way too complicated. McCoy's view on CK was different when nothing was happening to him. They asked a lot of people their views of CK during the djax issues. it doesn't matter if they said djax's name or not. And McCoy's view on CK is different now, because something has happened to him. Do you always make it this difficult to even agree with you???

We have a recruiter in the house. McCoy was on a team and was asked what he thought about Kelly as a coach . He was asked a year later what he thought about Kelly as a coach . It shows he's a sour self centered punk. If he would have said similar things about Chip and took the high road with it's a business and all he would be respected. You can't change your opinion of someone's ability after a decision impacted you. It was his opinion of Chip as a coach. Has nothing to do with what happened with the GM.

So I guess you would have been cool with Montana calling Bill Walsh a bad coach who should coach college guys after he went to the Chiefs? Uh no that never happened.
