Why is he punching walls? Is the injury more serious?

I called him Stammering Scott here once, then stopped as it was disrespectful. I'll now refer to him as The Savior.

OK so while Im not thrilled with our RB group, and I have concerns with the D-line, over all IM actually pretty good with the fact that we havent found it imperative to trade a high draft pick to bring some one in. Also pretty ok with the idea that we havent scrambled to pick up some other teams castoffs. Sure this could change and we might grab some one over the next few days. But IM good with it for now.

Well we will find out soon enough if he is a mad genius, or simply a mad man. Season starts in 5 days. :thumb:

purdy sure we agree he made the wrong decision when it came to Morris ... & we both hope Jones proves us wrong

& I am willing to give him a pass on the lack of investment at NT/DE (when you have so many areas to fix its understandable you can not fix them all at once)

but going back 10 years my biggest concern has been the o-line & secondary

scheriff was a big investment & step in the right direction on that front. Keeping my fingers crossed that Moses works out & we can get another good year out of Steiger.

Norman was a HUGE investment in the secondary ... he deff hit on breeland for sure (saved our ass with the tackle on the 1 yard line vs Tampa last year) & I have really come around on Hall ability to perform at safety the past 4 weeks.

not sure how many of these we have GM SM to thank for .... or just coincidence

They will likely try to carry over as much as they can just in case Kirk has a good season. I dont see any major moves coming right now. YOu could say Baker maybe, but that would be mid season.

money for kirk would be a good guess

GM SM lieutenants would be
scott campbell - college scout
jeff scott & richard mann - pro scout

You can add me and make it a trio.

I am willing to give him a pass on the lack of investment at NT/DE (when you have so many areas to fix its understandable you can not fix them all at once)

I disagree with this in the sense that a good/great NT/DT is a necessity to be stout up the middle. Someone who commands a mandatory double team. An interior DL who can occupy both space and multiple interior OL are the best friends an interior LB can have.

scheriff was a big investment & step in the right direction on that front. Keeping my fingers crossed that Moses works out & we can get another good year out of Steiger.

Agreed 100%.

Norman was a HUGE investment in the secondary ... he deff hit on breeland for sure (saved our ass with the tackle on the 1 yard line vs Tampa last year) & I have really come around on Hall ability to perform at safety the past 4 weeks.

If Norman can play half as well as he runs his mouth and attention whores he'll be good, BB can be the goods. He's talented enough to be a top tier CB. I love the move to safety for DHall. I've mostly loved/sometime hated him, but he doesn't get enough credit imo for transferring his game from a takes too many chances, not very physical, runs his mouth type. To a solid cover guy, not afraid to mix it up, runs his mouth type. If we ever get a decent to strong pass rush going. He just might be able to put his ballhawk skills to good use and DHall knows what to do when he gets his hands on the ball. Injury issues have become a concern though.[/QUOTE]

we agree on the importance of the position.

willing to give him some breathing room based on how many holes we had to fill & I do not expect them all to be filled in just 1 or 2 drafts.

while most agree the GM should draft best available, if the d-line is not addressed within the first 2 rounds of the 2017 draft I will be more than confused.

preferably a NT with the #32 overall

Yeah, I haven't gotten too unctious yet far as not targeting a NT/DT with a high draft pick the last couple years. Its not as if the position has been completely ignored since Scotty Mac hit the scene and as you say. The Skins had several holes. I'm not an advocate of always draft BPA and its not like BPA is set in stone or some shit. And the more opinions you have in a BPA mix, The bigger the possibility to end up with Joe Lunchmeat instead of Joe Montana.

If that 32nd pick of which you speak is somehow tied to a the Skins winning their 4th SB title scenario. Scotty Mac can draft Dave/Darrell Green Fan or Coach and I'll be down with it.

Not so sure McCloughan made a mistake with Alf. He had one big game against Miami in a blow out and his other to games were 5 for 17 and 3 for 11.

I love Alf the person but his running declined every year.
