MBBRL Suicide League Draft Thread

Week 1 RB's

There are only two of the six teams in the coma league who will start two "starters" at RB in Week 1. I'm proud to say I'm one of them with my mashing unit of Hillman and Redman! The other would be Lefty rolling with DeAngelo and Bilal Powell. And for the record, I think Lefty's team will come out the victor in our sleeping suicide league, barring injury of course... and since we're talking injuries, I would say Will has the widest range of hitting the next man up scenario with 4 back ups, Treff looking for a Forte bump in the road and Ram looking for a Charles' interruption to get their "hand cuffs" going. Monkey could be in trouble without a QB... unless Pryor flops and Flynn gets it back. For me, a Gore injury would be nice, but my vet WR is Dwayne Harris! lol

This should be good.

I'd be plenty happy with a healthy Bradshaw and, given the lack of other "starters" on all teams..a few goaline carries every week, a Forte "bump" would be great, but I'll takecwhat I can get!..I can live with that

Wow - those are some pitiful numbers. .... one twisted ankle could bolt anyone into the top spot.

I"m just waiting on on a BJGE broken leg, and a Bernard torn hammy..and Sexy Rexy will take it all home for me!
And Tebow to have an epiphany, realize his position is TE, sign with the Raiders, and tear it up..a guy can dream right?

We slow drafted the original suicide teams on this thread..........took us a freaking month to draft those teams then 8 of the 12 (not I said the fly) decided to slow draft another team with all of the leftovers,..........

eh maybe 3-4..lol
but yea, like Sam said..this was simply the leftovers from the original suicide league..pickings were slim before we started, although some players on a few rosters look like they might be every week starters or at least good bench options for normal leagues due to injuries or a nice preseason.

Suicide meaning no transactions of any kind after the draft... and the draft was in May.

No transactions in the leftovers league either (my kicker is out for the year, and Monkey's only QB is Flynn).

It was really a way to force us to rank deep and investigate sleepers. But it'll be amusing to see which stinkpile crawls to a championship.

Nice! He's kind of like a Tim Tebow of RB's.. there's no real measurable that makes him good, not exceptionally fast, not big.. just dammed good football player. Unfortunately for Timmy, Rex has run the HB option play often enough in college that is safe to assume he can throw better than Tebow too

And RAM swamps me in MBBRL and Suicide!! Double dippin'...
