Yeah, I think Perez was scheduled for Monday last I checked... but it is Tuesday. I wonder if Grilli gets any saves? Smart move? Dumb move? We shall see.

Ditto on the good luck to the playoff teams.
Just glanced at my team in the "Bourbon Bowl". Where was this performance the last three weeks?

Sorry I didn't say this sooner (or type it) but I really do appriciate you guys letting me in this league. Jim and Tlance: I always looked forward to Monday mornings (well, in my case it was mounings) to read your updates and projections. Hopefully me and Miggy can make a much better showing next year but regardless of the outcome in the standings I had mucho funno and have a much better understanding/respect for all of the time and work you need to put into this to be successful. I mean hell, you know how much time Jim puts into this league and look how successful he was (well, he beat the shit out of me anyway...........lol). Looking forward to next year and congrats to Big D; ask for 100,000 Vcash a year, I know how much you like that Vcash!:suds:

Well, before this goes from just gay to flaming I'll end with a big thanks to The Fuzzster and the rest of you who tried to help me out from time to time.

You are the man Sam. I guess there is no chance you take Hamilton in the 1st this year?

Draft Order 2014:

1. Sam
2. Big D
3. Rev
4. Fuzzy
5. Treff
6. Ram
7. Kevin
8. Dub
9. TKO
10. Chef
11. Tlance
12. Paul

Congrats to Paul for finishing first. That is every bit as impressive (maybe more so) than winning the tournament.

Congratulations are also in order for TKO, who stood in first place in the roto standings at season's end.

Knew I should have stuck with A.J. Griffin against the Twinkies this week... no, I had to go and pick up a 2-starter in Torres who promptly gets rocked in his first game. Playoffs, no time for mistakes!!!!!

so, dumb I guess!

I need a ridiculous weekend to come back here.... and DUB didn't even really set his lineup!

I've benched Melancon for the past two weeks because of Grilli, and that turned out to be pretty dumb. If i'm around next week, Melancon is in my lineup. If you're around next week, with reverse logic in effect, i'd advise you to put Grilli in yours.

Btw, TKO...we gotta win! This is the battle of Actives vs. Non-Actives! Plus, i'd love the chance to play you one more time so I can tell you what a wonderful job you're doing!

funny, I was thinking you did that subconsciously this week ;)

I don't think I can comeback here... era and whip and runs are out of reach, with saves and steals being very unlikely too, leaves me with a hope for a tie at best...

hind sight is always 20-20, but if I just left C.J. and A.J. in for Grilli and Torres, I'd be in much better shape... so it's all on me, being an over-thinking dumbass!

Congrats on making it to the Final 4 Chef and Dub!

Here is a quick look at what happened during the regular season when the two semifinalist pairings met one another:

Grand Salamis vs. The Soggy Bottom Boyz:

The Boyz won both regular season match-ups by scores of 7-3 and 6-4. The Salamis will look to get revenge in what should be a great match-up. Pitching is likely to be close, so whichever side can get the bats going will likely earn a trip to the ship.

Sarnia Tigers vs. Dub:

In week 11, Sarnia won 7-3, but in their most recent match-up just 2 weeks ago, Dub was the 6-3 victor. Who will take the rubber match?

Sarnia has dominated the pitching cats all season, but Dub brings a hot staff into this semifinal battle, while Sarnia has since lost staff ace Jose Fernandez to his innings limit. Sarnia has the clear edge on paper, but Dub has been pretty tough to beat lately.

Good luck to all!

Haha I don't think it's proven anything about playing rookies :)
I think it was a great year for young players and a tough year for veterans in mlb. Next year could be different, although don't wait too long on Bogaerts in the draft!!!
And that Yelich kid is really growing on me!
