Holy Shit, you fixed Verlander. Who would have thought that the only reason he was sucking was because he was on your team.:laugh3:

I was thinking the same thing...the reverse jinx has been activated.

Damn Sam, Joey Bats seems like he doesn't want to face you and his old fantasy squad! "Tweaked" his knee/leg today... oh brother, this would be a huge hit to me if this turns out to be something significant.

Congrats Sammy, looks like you've got it won...and if Trout goes off, it could end up being a beating.

Nice job! :suds:

Good game Ram.. that dang Mark Reynolds stole a point for OBP with a late hit, but barring an 18 inning no hitter with 17k's from Darvish, it would appear we're about done.

Tempting Paul.....................I declined it but I am still tempted. Thing is looks like Wright might be out of his funk. I was thinking McGahee (man I like that guy)..................Segura would have to be out of the convo though as I traded Chef my backup MI.

Thanks Paul. Better luck next week.

Thanks for benching Bummy, by the way. That made it really easy for me to root for him since I own him everywhere else. :suds:

A League Weekly Review

Standings-

1. Tlance: 77-32-11
2. Fuzzy: 67-50-3
3. Jim: 65-49-6
4. D Dude: 59-49-12
5. Treff: 59-54-7
6. Ram: 55-56-9
7. TKO: 55-59-6
8. Chef: 53-60-7
9. Sam: 49-59-12
10. Paul: 49-66-5
11. Kevin: 46-68-6
12. Dub: 39-71-10

Week 12 Recap

Tlance 8, Paul 2- Tlance's hitters were red hot and Paul's were ice cold. Pitching was much closer, but the hitting sweep allowed tlance to extend his lead on the rest of the field to 14 games. In this format, however, big leads can evaporate pretty quickly. Just ask Milk. :suds:

Big D 6.5, Dub 3.5- Dub had a really strong week, but it was not enough to beat Big D on his A game. To illustrate how unfair this format can be sometimes, D would have beaten tlance 6-4 this week, yet he loses 1.5 games in the standings and remains in 4th place despite being the season roto leader by a fairly wide margin.

Treff 6.5, Ram 3.5- These two teams came in tied for 5th place. Both teams played well, but the strong all around numbers from Treff''s squad were too much to overcome for Ram. Ram is still in 6th place, but he is just 1.5 games up on TKO and 3 on Chef.

Kevin 6, Fuzzy 4- Kevin had one of his best weeks of the season against 2md place Fuzzy and was able to secure the win. Fuzzy is now just 1.5 games ahead of 3rd place Jim, who is coming on strong. Kevin needs to get hot in a hurry to get himself out of the relegation picture.

Jim 6, TKO 4- Hanley's error may have cost Kershaw a perfect game, but his 0.00 WHIP and 15 Ks allowed Jim to win 4 pitching cats and take home the victory from a feisty TKO squad. Jim sits in 3rd place heading into his rematch with tlance and TKO remains on the outside looking in, in 7th place.

Sam 5.5, Chef 4.5- This one was extremely close with 3 tied categories. Chef needed a win, but could not come up with it. Sam's hot hitting proved to be too much. Chef remains in 8th place, while Sam slide ahead of Paul to take over sole possession of 9th.

Prospect League recap coming soon!

Prospect League Review

There were some crazy shake-ups in the prospect league this week. 6 of the top 7 teams faced off against one another, and there were some lopsided results in all 3 of those games.

Standings:

1. JD: 66-49-5- Congrats to our new leader!
2. Milk: 63-49-8
3. Driaz: 61-48-11
4. Micro: 62-52-6
5. OBX: 59-51-10
6. Smitty: 61-54-5
7. Redseat: 57-54-9
8. Molsan: 48-56-16
9. Foot: 47-59-14
10. Brock: 50-63-7
11. Trudem: 47-64-9
12. AZ Sting: 47-69-4

Week 12 Recap-

JD 9, Redseat 1- Redseat inexplicably had 3 inactives in his lineup this week. JD took full advantage with a complete dismantling of Redseat's squad. JD rises all the way up to the top spot, while Redseat falls to 7th. This was an absolutely stunning result.

OBX 8, Smitty 2- OBX has a very dangerous squad and Smitty just found out the hard way. A pitching sweep and a HR binge from OBX led the way. OBX rises all the way to 5th place, 2.5 games ahead of Smitty and Smitty falls to 6th. He is still 2 games up on suddenly struggling Redseat, but Smitty is not nearly as comfortable as he was a couple weeks ago.

Micro 7.5, Milk 2.5- When Micro said that Sunny days were ahead, he wasn't kidding. Kershaw led the way to a pitching sweep as Micro surges to 4th place. Milk's usually dominant pitching staff really struggled this week as Keuchel and Darvish had rare off weeks. Milk's hitters have been on vacation since May and the result has been a significant drop in the standings.

Brock 6, Molsan 4- A great pitching week and loads of SBs carried Brock to a much needed victory. There is still time for either of these teams to make a run with a strong surge over the next couple weeks. Molsan sits in 8th place, 5.5 games behind Redseat and Brock is in 10th.

Driaz 5.5, Foot 4.5- Driaz got the win, but he really missed an opportunity for significant advancement with so many of the top seeds taking beatings. As is, he still sits in third place. Foot continues to hang around in 9th place.

AZ Sting 5.5, Trudem 4.5- A rare win for the inactive Sting. He got a strong power performance along with strong pitching. This loss really hurts Trudem's chances of getting back into the hunt.

Best of luck to all in week 13!

It was nice to finally hold on one week. I don't know how many times I went into Friday and Saturday winning in 7 or 8 CATS and ended up only winning 5.5
